Digital course and downloadable lab
RestoreLab supplies written course material, a PDF workbook, an executable Python/Docker exercise, a recorded verification report, and optional draft media. The intended outcome is a verified local teaching exercise, not a production backup service or a guarantee that your own systems can be recovered.
The product requires Linux, Docker Engine, Docker Compose, and Python 3.11 or newer. Delivery is by digital download through Gumroad after checkout. Prices are shown before payment and checkout makes clear that purchase begins a payment obligation.
Where required, the checkout requests your express consent to begin supplying digital content immediately, and your acknowledgement that the statutory withdrawal right is lost once delivery begins.
Product licence
Limited use, not ownership transfer
A purchase grants one customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal or internal business use. You may not publicly upload, resell, redistribute, republish, or remove copyright notices from the materials. Your statutory rights are not affected.
The executable lab must be run only against the supplied synthetic environment. Do not point it at production systems, live credentials, or unrelated Docker projects.
Privacy notice
Minimal data by design
This website is static: it has no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking. We only learn about you if you buy the product or email us.
Third parties that process data for us:
- Gumroad — checkout, payment processing, applicable sales tax/VAT, and product delivery. Gumroad acts as merchant of record and processes your order details under its own privacy policy.
- Netlify — website hosting. Like any web host, it may process standard server logs such as IP addresses.
- Zoho Mail (EU) — support email. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising or marketing trackers.
Support & refunds
Written support, clear scope
Support is email-only at support@hegartyas.com and covers reproducible product problems: a damaged download, missing package contents, documented commands that fail, or environment-check failures. Support does not include calls, live chat, bespoke recovery work, or access to your systems. Do not send passwords, private keys, customer data, or production database dumps.
Refunds: RestoreLab is digital content supplied immediately after purchase. All sales are final once delivery begins, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer law (for example, faulty or misdescribed content). Statutory rights cannot be excluded.
Honest scope
What this product is — and is not
RestoreLab is a self-paced learning product that runs in an isolated, synthetic Docker environment. It is not a production recovery service, not an accredited certification, and not a guarantee that any particular system can be recovered. The value is in teaching a verifiable recovery habit.
