Before you start
No. An existing computer or a small dedicated machine can be enough for light services. Start with the applications you want to run, then check their memory, storage, and processor requirements. Account for power, noise, and a separate backup destination—not just purchase price. Use the planning guide.
Yes. These guides are available to read without an account or purchase. RestoreLab is a separate paid course and executable lab. The guides stand on their own; you do not need the course to use their checklists.
Not yet. Jarvis is in development. Supported platforms, pricing or licensing, and release availability have not been announced. The coming-soon preview is not an offer to buy or download it.
Free to use and open source are different things. Each utility will include its own licence, explaining whether source code is available and what use or redistribution is permitted. There are no freeware downloads available here yet.
A Linux machine with a local Docker Engine, Docker Compose, and Python 3.11 or newer. The lab uses synthetic data in separate Docker projects. It does not attach to your existing applications. Docker Desktop and remote Docker daemons are outside its tested support boundary.
